In the coming months, GC Valves will be transitioning our part numbers to reflect that we have upgraded our standard coil insulation to higher temperature Class H:
- For example, S211GF02N5DG4 will become S211GH02N5DG4
- Some valve series are already shipping with updated part numbers; by the end of the year, this change will affect all valves, kits, and coils
- Class H has been available at the exact cost as Class F for some time, so prices will not increase.
CRNs
Canadian Registration Numbers CRNs can be required on pressure equipment in Canada. Each province issues its own CRN. Follow the link to view the site that features our valve listings, ranging from 3/8″ to 2″ ports. You can then download the certificate needed for your customer.
Brass Strainers Protect Solenoid Valves From Premature Failures
- Teflon tape and other stringy elements can interfere with internal operation.
- Silt and sand can settle in the valve and impede operation.
- Rust, scale, and other hard contaminants can damage soft seals, and the plunger
